Storyteller Shower Upgrade: A More Durable Solution for Life on the Road

Recently, a customer brought us their Storyteller van looking for a more robust shower solution. Like many exterior water systems, the original setup had reached the point where reliability was becoming a concern. Rather than simply replacing individual components, we upgraded the entire shower connection system with the Tetravan Stainless Steel Shower Port.
Why Upgrade?
Factory shower ports often rely on plastic fittings and lightweight components that work well in controlled conditions but can struggle to withstand years of real-world use. Road vibration, temperature swings, and exposure to dirt and moisture can all contribute to premature wear.

Retaining the Factory Look

Rather than cutting new openings into the body, we reused the factory shower plate location and worked within the existing footprint. Most of the original mounting points were retained, allowing the new system to integrate seamlessly with the van's exterior.
The Result
The finished installation delivers a cleaner look, stronger components, and a significantly more durable shower connection system without altering the van's interior aesthetics.
